Refund, Return, and Shipping Policy — National Parks EDU
Refund, Return, and Shipping Policy
This Refund, Return, and Shipping Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases made through NationalParksEdu.org (“National Parks EDU,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By placing an order through our Website, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy, subject to any rights provided to you under applicable law.
1. Order Review and Acceptance
We reserve the right to accept, refuse, cancel, or limit any order when reasonably necessary, including in situations involving suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, pricing or product-information errors, product unavailability, or misuse of promotional offers.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method.
2. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you have an issue with an order, please contact us at team@nationalparksedu.org as soon as possible so we can review the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased and the circumstances of the request.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any refund, cancellation, return, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. The time required for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or financial institution.
3. Physical Product Returns
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, physical products may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, an item generally must:
Be returned within the applicable return period.
Be unused and in its original condition.
Include original packaging and accessories, when applicable.
Not be damaged, altered, or misused by the customer.
Certain products may be identified as final sale and may not be eligible for return except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to review returned merchandise and determine whether it meets the applicable return requirements.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Unless an item is defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrectly shipped, or otherwise subject to a different policy, customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs.
If we determine that an item was defective, damaged before delivery, or incorrectly fulfilled, we may provide return instructions or otherwise resolve the issue as appropriate.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us at team@nationalparksedu.org as soon as reasonably possible.
Please include your order information and, when appropriate, photographs showing the condition of the item.
We may offer a replacement, refund, return authorization, or another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.
6. Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at team@nationalparksedu.org.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled after it has entered processing, fulfillment, or shipment.
If an order has already shipped, you may need to follow the applicable return procedure instead.
7. Shipping and Processing
Orders are generally processed within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends, unless a different processing timeframe is stated on the applicable product page.
Shipping times vary depending on the destination, shipping method, carrier, product availability, and other circumstances.
Any shipping timeframe displayed during checkout or on a product page should be considered the applicable estimated or promised timeframe for that order.
We will make reasonable efforts to fulfill orders within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase.
If an order cannot be shipped within the timeframe represented at the time of purchase, we will provide appropriate notice and available options as required by applicable law.
8. Shipping Delays
Shipping and delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, weather, natural events, customs processing, transportation disruptions, supply issues, or other unexpected circumstances.
If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant information and provide appropriate options when available.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once an order has been shipped, customers may receive tracking information when available.
If a package is delayed, missing, or appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us at team@nationalparksedu.org.
We may also ask you to contact the shipping carrier or assist with a carrier investigation when appropriate.
Packages marked as delivered but reported missing or stolen may require additional investigation before a replacement or refund is provided.
We do not guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier, except where required by applicable law or where we determine that a resolution is appropriate.
10. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
If an order has not yet shipped, contact us as soon as possible if you need to correct your shipping information. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order has entered processing.
11. Digital Products
If we offer digital products, downloads, educational resources, or other electronically delivered products, the applicable product page or checkout page will explain how the product is delivered.
A digital product is generally considered delivered when access, download, or another method of electronic delivery has been made available to the customer.
Because digital products may be immediately accessible after purchase, refunds may be limited once a product has been accessed or downloaded, except where required by applicable law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate.
12. Subscriptions and Recurring Services
If we offer subscriptions or recurring services, the applicable checkout page will disclose the recurring nature of the purchase, applicable pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation terms.
Customers may cancel recurring services according to the cancellation instructions provided with the applicable service.
Cancellation generally prevents future charges but does not automatically create a refund for amounts already paid unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or you have an issue with an order, we encourage you to contact us first at team@nationalparksedu.org so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Nothing in this section is intended to prevent you from exercising any rights you may have under applicable law or your payment provider's dispute procedures.
We may provide relevant transaction records, order information, communications, and delivery information to a payment processor or financial institution when responding to a payment dispute.
14. Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to delay, cancel, or investigate orders that we reasonably suspect involve fraud, unauthorized activity, abuse, or other unlawful conduct.
We may request additional information or verification before completing certain transactions.
15. Taxes and Additional Charges
Customers may be responsible for applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, or other fees associated with their purchase or delivery, depending on the applicable requirements.
Any applicable charges that are known to us will be disclosed as required at the time of purchase.
16. Third-Party Shipping and Payment Providers
We may use third-party companies to process payments, fulfill orders, and deliver products.
These providers may have their own terms and policies.
While we work with reputable service providers, we are not responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control involving third-party services, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, National Parks EDU will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays, carrier issues, lost packages, or refund disputes.
Nothing in this Policy limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
18. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
The version of the Policy in effect at the time of your purchase generally applies to that purchase, except where a change is required by applicable law or otherwise applies to an existing transaction.
